Vision Expo West has come and gone and it’s hard to believe October is already here. Time is moving so quickly I can barely hold on to my hat – although that may have something to do with my lack of hair. Continue reading →
With all of the natural disasters that have impacted the United States and its territories, the Caribbean, and Mexico in the past month, it’s hard to believe that we have an ounce of control in this world. On behalf of everyone at Eyefinity, we send our most sincere condolences to everyone who has experienced loss or been displaced. Know that we support you and that our hearts are filled with hope. When my youngest daughter Annie was four years old, we were vacationing in Hawaii enjoying the beach and the quiet pace of life. One night as we were getting ready to go out for dinner, I asked Annie, “Where are your shoes?” She innocently recalled that the last time she’d seen them was three or four days earlier. Pick your classes, pack your most comfortable shoes, make dinner reservations— Vision Expo West is just around the corner! Here are 4 things we bet you didn’t know about VEW.
VEW is so big that 5 football fields would fit inside the exhibit space.
About 24% of attendees are optometrists (based off Vision Expo West 2016)
VEW is truly international! Last year, almost 200 international exhibitors attended VEW, representing 16 countries.
We can’t wait for another fantastic VEW! Visit us at booth #17114 and #MS 12043 to learn how you can get a $1,000 gift card and qualify for huge monthly savings with a purchase of Eyefinity EHR.
I want to personally share with you the next video in our #ForwardTogether video series featuring Dr. Masoud Nafey. I am proud to have Dr. Nafey on the Eyefinity team. We are so fortunate as a company to work alongside several doctors who drive our software forward together. Dr. Nafey has an inspiring story to share about his path to Optometry and the importance of making personal connections with patients. I am humbled to call him a colleague and friend.
