President, Eyefinity

In the optometric industry, one does not have to look far to realize that eye care professionals have many traits in common. Three that come to mind are “Passion,” “Commitment,” and “Grit.”

At Eyefinity, we admire all that you do as community leaders. You embrace new technology, volunteer in your communities, manage successful businesses, and much more. What an opportunity, then, to spotlight the breadth of expertise that stretches across the country so that we can learn from each other what amazing things you are doing to advance the field of Optometry.

And “Forward Together” was born.

We created the Forward Together video series around the concept of how eye care professionals move the industry forward together. To get things started, we asked a few of the less camera-shy members of the Eyefinity team to share their amazing stories with you all. The result? We laughed. We cried. We learned what it truly means to sacrifice for your profession. As a company, these stories alone have emboldened us to advance our vision of providing high-quality practice management products and services so that we can liberate doctors to deliver great patient care.  It’s an amazing thing.

We hope you’ll enjoy the first video in the series, “Face to Face” with Eyefinity EHR Senior Product Manager Phernell Walker II, ABOM. Phernell will be teaching at the next Eyefinity Education Conference in Anaheim, CA. If his video inspires you, we hope you’ll attend so you can discuss with him in person the future of Eyefinity EHR.

Feel free to email me at steve.baker@eyefinity.com with suggestions or reactions. The video is also available on social media for you to share with your network.
