Great to the Last Moment

One of the last things you will do as you prepare to go live with Eyefinity EHR is a final “checkout” with your Implementation Specialist. What I loved about the checkout is that it inspired me to hammer out those last 20 charts. It was wonderful to see how much faster I was at completing a chart in Eyefinity EHR than in ExamWRITER (and I am pretty good with ExamWRITER if I might say so myself!).

In my opinion, what makes Eyefinity EHR faster is that it “remembers me.” With its intuitive programming, the most common diagnoses I see in my area are at my fingertips as well as my most common treatments and return visits. It is like having a chair-side assistant that learns your every move and anticipates the next one for you.  I still make all of the final decisions, of course. However, the options I want most are designed to be easy to find.

In addition to the doctors, all the technicians do a final checkout as well. As we all went through our checkout, it was low-stress and a positive teaching experience to have the specialist there with us. The checkout is one more teaching moment that brings it all together and inspires your practice to get going.
