What do you do when life happens?
Everyone was on schedule in our office with training and our date of final certification and installation was set. The plan was to go live after returning from our first ever big vacation with the kids. The third day of our trip, I was walking along on the cobblestone streets of Paris pointing out where van Gogh and Picasso lived when the next thing I knew, I was on the ground and my ankle was swelling quickly. To make a long story short, I couldn’t walk and had no idea if my ankle was broken or sprained until I returned home several days later. Running through my mind, of course, was the question of how this was going to impact my life not only at the moment but also when I returned to the office.
With any other change in my office, I would have been in a panic. However, with going from ExamWRITER to Eyefinity EHR, I knew I didn’t have to worry. I called the office and moved our “Go Live” date back a little bit in case I would have to be out of the office when I returned or unable to work at full speed. It is important to be prepared and plan ahead. However, when life gets in the way, it is also important to regroup, set a new date, and move on. It has been a blessing to work with Eyefinity because their onboarding system and their team are so helpful and flexible when life happens.
